Adam ... driveshaft has lots of room ... np

Pic ... well front right axle for the Lemonator ( will install Tue ... READY TO ROCK AGAIN BAD )

2 rear hanger bolts ... GREASABLE ... will install them , then the rear shackle bolts ... suspension lift will be done

new rear "bump" stops .... I know, I know I know ... will never be used because the Cruzr has the flex of an OAK 4x4 ... but at least I have them.

Just have to add stainless steel brake flexlines ( on order ) and then bleed, bleed, bleed the brakes. BUT 1st I have to splce in a new piece of brake line

Replaced all but 3 ( so far ) of the 12 brakelines from the firewall down to the frame, along the axles, to each of the wheels ( 2 cylinders at each one ). Could be 12 leaks or really good brakes. At least they will be new.

Just have take off the skid plate to get the main front to rear line that I patched ( and got humiliated into changing )

At least I'm getting good at measuring, bending and flaring them.

BUT it'll test my patience ... bleeding the lines ... hmm, I have a plan ( details to come if it works otherwise "shhhhhhhh" ). Nice to have newer lines, well almost everything newer than OLD Thumper ( except the tires/wheels, airfreshner & well ... the design !).

I'll push your pedal for ya if needed when your ready to bleed them .. Hard to push it and turn the bleeder at the same time

All you have to do is have a jar on the floor with a long plastic line from the bleeder to the jar. As long as the tube is in some fluid in the jar, no air gets into the line as you pump ( the brake ! ) Makes it a one man show.

However at my age I should be the one sitting pumping the brake and YOU , 20 something , should be under the Yota ( applicable position )

I've never had any luck making the tube seal tight on the bleeder so all good when the end of it is in the jar but gets air from the bleeder end

Thinking of ordering a Bestop for the FJ ... when all the costs of my custom pickup style were taking into consideration ... this was a LOT cheaper and supposedly fits ( not sure about my aluminum top as there are slight differences ) ... one shot > about $700 inc all hardware. That would have been the cost of JUST my hardware custom made for FJ's and THEN I'd have to adapt.

Ugly things ... so goes well with an FJ ( that's a stock '65 )

but with the sides up ... I like !

Looks like a table on top.
Would mean less freezing and getting soaked. But offroad it would be vulnerable to tree trunks when off camber as my rollcage shows ( and I am higher now so leaning more )

At least I'd never be mistaken for one of the Lemmings (Jeeps).

They offer that on lemmings ... since only gangsters drive them ... but alas not on the FJ version ... seems we are all angels ... well one anyway.

Looking around for free shipping ( ya right ... but trying)

I's need STEALTH AMORALL to deflect all the insults.

Been quietly working on Bushwacker.
The springs are all done .. about 3-4" spring lift ( but dropped the body down 1.5") and "flipped U bolts" ... wheelbase is +3"
8274 rebuilt with new seals
new "oh crap" handles for the passenger
added an interior battery shutoff switch
new rear bumpstops
improved tool box
new aluminum rear light backing plates
all new "lower" brake lines
rear storeage boxes are secured for a rollover !
Changed the knuckle bearings ( kingpins on your Jeeps )
Added the Bestop top ( had to change the rear rollcage )
Just have to relocate my CB aerial and change the parking brake pads before Trailfest.
