First thing that has been Bugging me... My Fender
Flares, all kinds of tiny pebbles and sand and crap was stuck down in between them and the fenders.. So Off they Come!

Then looking at the Rear inner Plastic Fenders.. WTF.. Ripped them out too..
TONS of mud and Crap hiding in there..
AND RUST !!!! Couldnt believe it.. Thumper has some RUSTIES !!
that box tube was Full of MUD!

Rear inner plastic fenders will not be reinstalled.

Then got Ambitious.. Out come the Front Differential..
Still not exactly sure what im dooing yet.. But it may
involve a new D44.. will know more tomorrow..

SWEET.. Enough for Today..

mhihi

I have Decided on a Aburn Gear ECLTC Locker..

I have researched lockers and the pattern seems to go like this..

OX is STRONGEST
A.R.B. 2nd
then ABURN ECLTC
then EATON Electric

and so on and so on...

Have heard a few including Bushys some ARB's can have seal issues.

So I decided to "GO ELECTRIC"

mhihi mhihi

My seals were only a problem in getting them ... I have a spare set now ... so no problem. Sure I have to pull the axles & the 3rd member ... but it has been in there 4 years, axles full of water ... love it.

With an arb .... it releases to an open diff( if loss of air pressure) ... does an electric?

Whatever works ... should be great on there anyway. Always fun having another button to push.

I've seen all break or fail.

OX & ARB are open or locked. OX have engagement issues with cable but easy to setup. ARB are pneumatic so air leaks are common.

Electric's are limited slip or locked. More problems with breakage on these I think because of lots of little parts, dont crash these lockers.
